SENDING MONEY
To send money to Vietnam through CMT - VIB Bank service, please follow these steps:
1.1. Go to the nearest agent of CMT
To get more details about CMT agent network, please follow the below instruction:

- Enter “Agent Directory”.
- Select your country of interest in “Select a Country”, then click on “Show Cities”. The city list of your preferred country will appear in “Select City”.
- Select your city of interest in “Select City”, then click on “Show Agents”. The agent list of your preferred city will appear.
- To get details of one agent, click on “View” on the right of the agent’s name.

1.2. Fill in the Send Money form and present with valid ID/passport
- Name of destination country (Vietnam).
- Amount of money to send.
- Type of receive currency: USD.
- Sender information: Full name, address, telephone number, ID, etc. The sender's name should be the same as the printed name on his/her identification.
- Beneficiary information: Full name, address, telephone number, and other information as required by the send agent. Make sure the beneficiary’s name is the same as the printed name on his/her identification. The beneficiary’s address and tel. no. is optional.
- Payout option: Tick “CMT Cash” or “CMT Account”.
- For “CMT Account”:
+ Type the account number carefully and the number of digits should be accurate. Double check with the beneficiary in Vietnam if necessary.
+ Bank name and bank branch name where the beneficiary opens account.
+ Address of the above bank branch. If this field is skipped, the transfer may take longer time and may be rejected by the destination bank.
- Sign the form to confirm the transaction.
- Present valid ID/passport to the agent staffs.
1.3. Pay the CMT agent the principal amount plus the sending fee
1.4. Receive the CMT Number
1.5. Inform the beneficiary the following information of the transfer
- Full name of the Sender (obligatory)
- Full name of the Beneficiary (obligatory)
- Amount of money (obligatory)
- CMT Number (obligatory)
- Type of currency
- Test question & Answer (if available)
For CMT Account service, you will only need to inform the beneficiary that the transaction has been executed.
Your fund transfer will be processed immediately and will be available for paying out within minutes. It may take longer due to time differences between the send countries and Vietnam.
RECEIVING MONEY
Cash Pick-Up (CMT Cash)
The beneficiary can receive money transferred from overseas CMT agents at any of VIB Bank branches and transaction offices in Vietnam (please see our location list here).
Please follow the following steps to receive money:
1.1. Fill in the Receive Money form and present valid ID document
- Required information: CMT Number, full names of the sender and the beneficiary, amount of money, type of currency.
- Valid ID: National ID or Passport.
1.2. Get the money
There will be no additional fee charged on the beneficiary for receiving money sent by RIA-VIB Bank service.
Account Deposit (CMT Account)
The beneficiary comes to the bank where he has account, present the valid ID, fill in the cash withdrawal slip and get the money.

- Sender information: Full name, address, telephone number, ID, etc. The sender's name should be the same as the printed name on his/her identification.

RECEIVING MONEY
3.1. Ask the person sending you the money to give you the Reference Number
3.2. Visit a VIB Bank branch or transaction office taking with you some personal identification and the Reference Number
3.3. Complete and hand in a simple receive form and you will be given your money.
