Mr. AN THANH SON, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. AN THANH SON has been appointed to be the Chief Executive Officer since June 2008. Formerly, Mr. Son has been the Executive Deputy General Director, Head of Branch and Service Delivery since October 2007. Mr. Son, since 2004, was appointed to be the Deputy General Director, Head of Branch and Service Delivery.

With over 15 years of experience in banking and finance, high background knowledge, degrees in Joint Master of Vietnam national University - Hanoi and Irvine University - America, and degree issued by Law and Economics in the Hanoi Law University, Vietnam Maritime University. Mr. Son has held many positions such as Head of Human Resource, Head of Administration Department, and Assistant of General Director in the Marine Joint Stock Commercial Bank of Vietnam and Executive Deputy General Director of Vietnam International Bank.

Mr. TRAN HOAI NAM, Deputy General Director, Big Clientele and FDI customers

Mr. TRAN HOAI NAM was appointed to be the Deputy General Director, Big Clientele and FDI Customers since September 2007.

With over 20 years of experience of working in Vietnam government organizations and international banking corporations, in with 11 years in leading international banks, Mr. Nam has owned high background knowledge, degrees in Master of Business Administration in the Technology Institute of Asia (AIT), Thailand. Mr. Nam has taken many positions as Corporate Relation Manager of Citibank, HCMC branch, Financial Institutions Relation Manager of Citibank, Hanoi branch, Credit Administration Manager as well as Officer of Marketing Department and Global Transaction Services Department with Citibank.

Mr. DUONG QUANG KHANH, Deputy General Director, Deputy General Director, Head of Personal Banking, Head of Card Business

Mr. Duong Quang Khanh has been appointed to be the Deputy General Director- Head of Personal Banking in early 2008, and Head of Card Business in late 2008.

Mr. Khanh has over 20 years of experiences in Finance and Banking in many banking groups such as: State Bank of Vietnam, Incombank, World Bank, Indovina. Mr. Khanh owns high background knowledge, degree of MBA issued by Bussiness University- Belgium and degree by the Institute for International Relations - Vietnam.

Mr. Khanh has taken many positions, say, Manager of Product Development, Manager of Card Business Center, Member of the Board of Directors of Incombank- Asia Insurance Co. Ltd in the period of 2003-2007. During this period, Mr Khanh has had many contributions to the development of the Incombank’s card service. As a result, Mr Khanh was granted the Best Performance of the Year of Incombank system (2001-2007), of Banking system (2003 & 2006) and the Certificate of merit from Prime Minister (2005).

Mr. DOAN QUANG DAI, Deputy General Director, Head of Branch Development and Service Delivery

Mr. Dai was appointed to be Deputy General Director and Head of Branch development and service since August, 2008.

Mr. Dai has over 13 years of experiences in Finance and Banking. Mr. Dai has owned high background knowledge, degrees in Master of Trade system management at Solvay Business School – Belgium, Bachelor of science of Hanoi University of Technology. Before joining VIB, Mr. Dai has taken many positions as Deputy General Director of HD Bank, Deputy General Director of VPBank, Manager of Hung Yen branch and then Chairman of Credit Committee of Techcombank.

Mr. HA HOANG DUNG, Deputy General Director, Head of Treasury

Mr. Dung (pronunciation: Zdung) was appointed to be Deputy General Director and Head of Treasury since August, 2008.

Mr. Dung has over 13 years of experiences in Finance and Banking. During the time, he has experience in many domestic and foreign banks in Vietnam such as: Techcombank, Fuji Bank, and Mizuho Corporate Bank. Especially in Mizuho Corporate Bank he has hold many positions, say, Deputy General Manager in charge of Corporate Finance, Deputy General Manager in charge of Treasury, Senior Manager of Treasury and Head/Coordinator of national staff task force in charge of new core banking system and establishment of Mizuho Corporate Bank Hochiminh city Branch.

Mrs. DAO MINH ANH, Deputy General Director, Head of Credit Management

Mrs. DAO MINH ANH was appointed to be Deputy General Director, Head of Credit Management since Octorber 2008.

With over 10 years of experience in banking and finance management and much knowledge in teaching and researching in university, high background knowledge, degrees in Master of Business Administration in the Technology Institute of Asia (AIT), Thailand, Mrs. Minh Anh has taken many positions as Credit Policy & Assessment Senior Officer, Manager of the Department in VIB Bank. Mrs. Minh Anh, also before, has been lecturer of Hanoi Economic University, of SAV Higher Education Centre of Switzerland in HCMC, International Settlement Officer, Import-export Enterprise Credit Officer, Vice-manager of Treasury and project assessment of BIDV, Khanh Hoa branch.

Mr. BUI QUOC KHANH, Chief Information Officer

Mr. BUI QUOC KHANH was appointed to be Chief Information Officer since April 2008.

With over 10 years of experience in informatics technology in which 7 years in banking informatics technology, high background knowledge, degrees in Master of  Trade System Management in the Royal Melbourne Institutes of Technology (RMIT) and Master of Information System Management in the Central Queensland University, Mr. Khanh has taken many positions in Techcombank and VIB Bank such as Managing Director of Banking Technology Modernization Project and Banking Technology Manager.

Mr. TA NGOC DA, Head of SME Banking

Mr. TA NGOC DA was appointed to be Head of SME Banking (Small and Medium Enterprises) since November 2008.

Mr. Da graduated from Economic University, HCM and has over 15 years experience in Finance and Banking. He took many positions in such companies as: Viet Thuan Joint-Venture company, Vinh Thinh limited company, Thien Phat construction limited company, Kexim Vietnam Leasing company. Starting with the role of a credit officer in Kexim Vietnam Leasing company, Mr Da proved his ability and became the Head of Credit department, an uneasy post in such 100% foreign owned company. Mr Da has also undertaken many important positions in VIB such as: Nha Trang branch manager, Deputy Head of SMEs.

Mr. Da has taken many positions in VIB as Manager of VIB Nha Trang Branch, Deputy Head of SME Banking.
