VIB donates 6 ambulances to Dong Nai province to support the fight against Covid-19

The Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has donated 06 ambulances worth a total of 5,3 billion dong to Dong Nai province. This activity is a support to the pandemic control and prevention mission for some southern provinces and cities of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), following the series of activities to join hands fight against the pandemic that the banking industry has been implementing actively.
With the collaboration of the Dong Nai branch of the SBV, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and Department of Health of Dong Nai province, on August 13, the VIB representative has transferred 06 ambulances to the local hospitals. The representative shared that this activity adds more ambulances to the local hospitals, as a result, the hospitals can be active in transporting the patients during the complicated pandemic situation in the South generally and in Dong Nai particularly.
As one of the most active banks that support the Covid 19 prevention mission from the start, VIB prioritizes all resources to maintain a safe and sustained business operation. Moreover, the bank always actively accompanies clients, partners, the SBV, and management agencies in activities that minimize the negative impacts on life and the economy. Recently, from July/2021, VIB continues to reduce interest rates for individual clients and business clients with an average interest rate of 1.5%. Earlier, in Q2/2021, the bank donates 20 billion dong to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund.
Actively promoting cashless payment and motivate clients to use convenient and safe transaction methods during the pandemic, VIB continuously deploys promotions for payment account and cards such as waving transaction fee via internet banking at https://ib.vib.com.vn and the bank application – MyVIB; introducing new card lines that specialize in online shopping, actively collaborating with partners for numerous offers up to 50% off on various shopping needs especially essential goods in this challenging time. In addition, VIB promoting investment in digital transformation so that customers can open cards, payment accounts, and other banking services anywhere, anytime without coming to the bank.
