Topic 1: Protect your cards safe and secure

As an International Cardholder, you may be seen as a potential target for fraudulent activities. In our point of view, there are a few key rules that help you protect yourself for the least amount of effort.

• Sign on the back your card and keep your card safe.
• Never disclose your PIN and never write your PIN on the outside of an envelope or postcard.
• Never lend your card to anyone. Never provide card’s information for anyone, even bank staff.
• Check your account balances and manage your daily transactions regularly
• Keep an eye on your card as closely as possible when making transactions
• Check your monthly statements and report discrepancies immediately
• Immediately report to VIB if you receive notification SMS/Email of transaction you did not make.
• Inform your bank in advance of any changes of contact details.
• Be aware of phishing e-mails asking for personal information
• Make purchases on reputable websites or participating merchants with ‘MasterCard SecureCode’ only.
• In case your card is lost/stolen, immediately report to lock your card.
• Contact Customer Service Hotline 1800 8180 if you need any further support

Topic 2: Wisely Manage Your Finances

• Always make full repayment or at least 5% amount due before due date to build a good credit history.
• Note your billing cycle date for an appropriate spending plan.
• Regularly check SMS and review statement to note your card transactions and due date.
• Make sure that the provided credit limit is appropriate and under your control.
• Update the Privilege offers and promotion programs for VIB Cardholder before making purchase.
• Enjoy Cash Back, Reward program applicable for each card types.
