Conditions for borrowers

Vietnamese residents or foreigners whose spouses are Vietnamese residents.

From 18 to 70 years old or below until the maturity period of loans.

Working experience
Having at least 03 months at current job; having formal labor contract with a term of 12 months or above.

Business experience
Having at least 2 years of business experience for customers being business owners or using part of revenues from business operations to repay loans.

At least VND 10 million per month.

Credit history
Having no bad debts to VIB and other banks  in the last 2 years.


Conditions for collaterals

For ownership and land use right-certified houses and land
The facades equal or exceed 2 meters and 3 meters for urban and suburban respectively.
The areas equal or exceed 20 square meters and 30 square meters for urban and suburban respectively.

For ownership certified apartments
The apartment areas equal or exceed 30 square meters and 50 square meters for urban and suburban respectively.

For land use right-certified mixed land
The remaining useful time of the nonresidential land part equals or exceeds 10 years.
The accesses to the land are 3 meters or above wide.

For transport vehicles
Accept vehicles with brands from developed countries. View here.

For valuable papers
Savings books, deposit certificates, deposit agreements and deposit account balances at VIB.
Bills, bonds and papers issued by VIB.

  • Registration fee : 0.5% * area * value according to the price framework of each region/locality;
  • Collateral notarial fee:  Around 0.1% of the contract price;
  • Personal income tax: 2% of sale and purchase value;
  • Guarantee transaction registration fee: VND 80,000;
  • Overdue repayment interest: 150% of the interest rate in the loan contract;
  • Early repayment fee: Depend on VIB's regulation/ specific promotion packages.
