Established on September 18, 1996, VIB started its operation with initial charter capital of VND50 billion and 23 staffs.

For 29 years, VIB has achieved significant development and prominent milestones. At Jun 30, 2025, the bank’s charter capital reached VND 29,791 billion, while its shareholder’s equity hit VND 43,627 billion and total assets topped VND 530,000 billion.
