Reward Category Registration

For new customers applying for a Card through direct sales channels, the selected reward categories shall be recorded based on the Cardholder’s registration, subject to the number of reward categories available under the approved Card Tier.

For new customers applying for a Card through digital channels, the reward categories shall be assigned by VIB based on the categories most commonly selected by customers, subject to the number of reward categories available under the approved Card Tier.

For existing customers applying for an additional VIB One Card, the Cardholder may select reward categories via MyVIB after the Card has been issued and activated.

The selected reward categories shall be recorded by VIB in the order of priority specified by the Cardholder via MyVIB.

Reward Category Adjustment

The Cardholder may change the selected reward categories via MyVIB, subject to the number of category changes permitted from time to time under the Terms and Conditions of the VIB One Card Reward/Cashback Program.

Where the Card is upgraded to a higher Card Tier and becomes eligible for additional reward categories, the Cardholder may select additional reward categories via MyVIB.

Where the Card is downgraded to a lower Card Tier, VIB shall automatically remove reward categories starting from those with the lowest priority based on the priority order previously selected by the Cardholder. Any reward category removed due to such downgrade shall be deemed deleted from the selected reward categories and shall not be automatically reinstated upon any subsequent Card Tier upgrade (if any).
